The odds against the Staircase Project always seemed astronomical, but they gave it a good shot. I'm enjoying Saul's new role as a Wallfacer even if it took him way too long too accept his fate as the wildcard pick. Really surprised that Sophon didn't start messing with Wade sooner even if he is a part of their plans. Shi's bug pep talk at the end was pretty good.
