👾 Bard's Tale Completed

It took me about an hour and a half tonight, but I finally managed to finish Bard's Tale. Now that I think about it I really should have taken a picture or done a screenshot of the ending, but of course I only just now thought of it. I'm pretty sure Houston wants to see me complete it though so I'm probably going to have to do the whole thing again in front of him tomorrow. It feels good to have finally wrapped it up.

Overall navigating the last couple level's of Mangar's Tower was too bad. Mangar himself wasn't that challenging, but his Greater Demon and Vampire Lord minions were tougher I thought. I ended up with one character turned to stone and it took me several round to dispatch the remaining combatants.

I'm not entirely sure what my next move will be at this point other than not jumping right into Bard's Tale II. I really want to try out Pool of Radiance and Forgotten Realms Unlimited Adventures, but I probably won't commit to doing too much with them at this point.

On a new games note, Houston and Nathan are loving Starbound,, the science fictional space travel roguelike Houston paid for with his own money. I always thought it looked more interesting than Teraria1, but that's just me. Hopefully, it will keep them entertained for a few months.

  1. Houston's most recent game love.
