This was a really moving and miraculous story; as an American I found teenage Caitlin painfully recognizable and kind of embarrassing, while Martin's trials and small triumphs often left me in tears. To her credit Caitlin grew tremendously over the course of the story and the way she championed Martin from afar changed both their family's lives forever.
