🏀 Julian Strawther was the only Zag player drafted in yesterday's NBA Draft, going 29th to the Pacers who immediately traded him to the NBA Championship Nuggets. Not sure how easy it will be for him to break into the lineup there and get any playing time, but perhaps a cool team to be a part of and develop with. Looks like Timme is going to sign a FA contract with Milwaukee so we'll see how that goes.

⚽️ Latest word on the David Raya acquisition is that Spurs are starting to look elsewhere given Brentford's seeming refusal to budge on their 40 million pound price tag. I think this is smart as it's still early in the transfer window and by all measures the price tag is about 10 million high for a good, but not great acquisition.

🤖 Finally started playing with DifusionBee over the last couple days. It's amazing on any M1 Mac with 16GB of RAM since image generation only takes about 30 seconds.

⚽️ Negotiations for Brentford's David Raya as the replacement for Hugo Lloris in goal are progressing. This is the one signing that I don't want to see Spurs get beaten on. I'm more ambivalent about Maddison and I think there are multiple good options at center back which has to be the club's next priority. I feel like there's enough returning personnel to work within the midfield and forward line for next season if we can just get our defense shored up.

🤖 Bing Chat worked pretty well to make a basic three-room text adventure in Inform 7. I had to debug one lock key issue with the original text and an additional bug after that, but it certainly worked.

🤖 Playing with Bing AI a little bit today and it's quite good. Comparable to ChatGPT in several areas, but good integration with search and current events. The main downside is that I had to install Microsoft Edge on my Mac to use it, but the formatting and detailed responses are excellent.

🍏 Apple Vision Pro is the new AR/VR device. $3499 coming at the beginning of next year. iOS and iPadOS apps appear to just run out of the box on it. Super svelte Apple design, but you still look ridiculous when you wear them.

🍏 Big Apple Developer Conference keynote today. All signs point to a new AR/VR hardware platform. Looking forward to seeing what actually gets revealed.

⚽️ Postecoglou is going to be the new Spurs manager and I'm excited for the rebuild to get started. Looking forward to talented young players like Gil, Spence, and Udogie to finally get some minutes and very curious about who will get moved on. Real Madrid wants Harry Kane, but I feel like he's all in on playing in England at this point. Ndombele is a perfect player offensively and the worst fit possible defensively.

⚽️ As of this week, Celtic manager, Ange Postecoglu, is the new frontrunner for the Spurs job. He's been fantastic for Celtic and I like him a lot because of his attacking style of play and his background as a Greek immigrant football outsider from Australia that everybody discounts. We'll find out tomorrow after the Scottish Cup final whether this choice has legs or not.
