Spurs have a huge Carabao Cup matchup with City today and I'm sort of ambivalent. Despite many signs of improvement, the season has been frustrating so far, not just because the of our inconsistent away form, but because of the YouTube and social media response to every loss.

Completing my work benefits renewal (we're in the middle of open enrollment) this year was the smoothest yet. Last year there was at least one item during the workflow that confused me, but this year was completely straightforward.

Just confirmed that both my ballot and my oldest son's have been accepted for this year's General Election. Particularly happy that they were processed so quickly in light of the recent ballot box arson attacks on the other side of the state.

Trying to remember the last book I read for myself this year- technically it was an audiobook unless I'm forgetting one. Between the ones before that one and the Harry Potter books I've been reading to the family I'm averaging about one a month in 2024. Better than nothing, but a bit underwhelming by my lifetime standards.
