🏀 Speaking of NBA progeny that may or may not have a future in the league: Reggie Miller's 10-year-old son Ryker looks super promising. The kid has a build just like his dad, idolizes Steph Curry, and actually has other athletic interests like MTB.

🏀 How did I not know that Bronny James is only a 6' 2" guard? I knew he wasn't as big as his dad, but having not watched him play I had it in my head he was like a 6'5" or 6'6" wing.

🚀 Space-X managed to successfully land their Super Heavy booster into the chopstick arms of its giant Mechazilla capture tower today. Pretty impressive feat considering the booster has something like 10 times the lift capacity of the Falcon 9 that Space-X built their reputation on.

⚙️ Pictures are worth a thousand words is my new philosophy for importing images into Bear. Even if they come from a social media context I'm going to dedicate a post to them. That said, I could see doing a gallery summary post to later refer back to those images using some kind of variation on the gallery css that Robert came up with for his theme.

🗓 Assembling microcosms from my yarn.social 2022-23 microblogging exports is going to be a fair amount of work because I split it up between three or four categories. I'm still enjoying the process though and really happy that I do have some writing to show from this period.

⚙️ Used Gemini and ChatGPT to cobble together a javascript function that converts UTC into a more human-readable form so that I can convert my twtxt exports from 2022-23 into a microcosm friendly form. Set up an action in Drafts, assigned a key shortcut, and I'm all set to start converting stuff.

🏀 Started watching the end of the Liberty - Lynx game and Minnesota goes on an 18-2 run to force overtime. What a ridiculous meltdown from New York.

🏃 Good fast run with the girls tonight. Didn't start that way, but L always wants to push the pace and run a little ahead of our pack and I decided to see how long she could hold that. To her credit, she held the pace for a couple of minutes before falling off, but then S and I continued at a faster pace together almost the entire rest of the way (L dropped back beside J and they followed a ways behind) and set a new 5K record (for this season) of 27:53. Total distance was 5.22K in 29:04. Best I've felt on a run in a long time.

🧙♀️Played the Keito brawl deck in Midweek Magic with okay results. Got a couple wins, but also got roughed up pretty good by the Balloon Man and Toby.

📺 Homicide: Life on the Street S2E2 - Black and Blue 👍👍 Amazing episode where Pembleton extracts a confession from an innocent black man to force Giardello to reckon with the reality that a cop murdered a black man in cold blood and he should not be protecting him. Outstanding side plot where Julianne Marguiles connects with Bollander, gets him to start playing his cello again, and then their duet is used as the background music for the final arrest and booking at the station.😘👌
