π Cougs win 54-52 in 2OT! I did not expect this one to be such an entertaining game. San Jose State came to play and pushed WSU to the brink multiple times in the second half.

π WSU vs San Jose St. is on over-the-air tv (CW) so I'm going to watch for a bit. Of course, San Jose immediately busts out with a 66-yard touchdown run up the middle to tie the game.

It's mind-boggling how far the Ferris High School football program has fallen off over the last several years. They won a state title in 2010 but were just blown out by Cheney, a lower-division school that was on a 13-game losing streak prior.

I was intrigued to learn recently that Chrome actually performs better than Safari on Mac laptop battery consumption nowadays thanks to some Microsoft Edge-related contributions. I've found Safari reliability to have gone downhill noticeably in the last year and if not for the keychain and iCloud integration would seriously consider switching.

My axodys.com domain is long overdue for a refresh. I'm keeping it on Blot.im for at least another year and my first step will be to move off DropBox and onto GoogleDrive.

My younger son has been doing marching band for the first time this year after joining the local high school band as a drummer last year. It's been really fun to see him taking part in and enjoying something that was one of the best parts of my high school experience.
