As much as our poor, beaten-down washing machine seems to act up after our oldest brings some loads to wash, I think she owes her mom a really good Mother's Day gift, like a new one.

15.4.1 update went smoothly on my first Open Core running test mac. Noticed a lot more 15.4.1 installs at work than I expected, but understand why. Pretty sure that 15.4 turned on automatic macOS installs- it's incredibly obnoxious that Apple changes major settings like this during point releases.

Learned about a Washington State ebike rebate that we could qualify for today so I went ahead and applied for it. If nothing comes of it I'll just get my diy ebike in working order again; I'm ready to get back to bike commuting again.

TIL: WotC didn't actually nail down the digital rights for their Marvel licensed IP and have to come up with Universes Within equivalents for these sets for Magic Arena. Simultaneously angry as a Marvel Arena fan that was really looking forward to this and bemused by how much additional work this has created.

1982: Greatest Geek Year Ever!👍👍 was a pretty entertaining documentary. I had watched or knew of most of the big movies covered, but there were definitely some really interesting lesser-known or unsuccessful gems from that year as well.

Soaking wet return to spring soccer in Spokane this morning, but a good one as S's team got a 2-1 victory after she won the tackle that set up the go-ahead score. L's team dominated as usual with a 12-0 outing, and she even got a brace for herself!
