More Zephyr changes than I had realized already. Sydney Cummings is with D.C. Power now, McKenzie Weinert and Alyssa Bourgeois have both signed with Lexington SC, and Marley Canales is no longer on the roster.

Looking forward to hearing what the Biff crew have to say about the back half of Ironheart because they were more critical of the first three episodes than I was, and I did not appreciate the ending.

To further elaborate on my Ironheart feelings, N.A.T.A.L.I.E. was the best part of the show, and to directly put her very existence in jeopardy with no guarantee of a second season in the current Disney+ MCU streaming era sucks.

๐บ I've got to say that I'm incredibly dissatisfied with the ending of Ironheart because I know that it cannot possibly be the win that it's portrayed as.

Woke up to the terrible news that Diogo Jota and his brother had died in a tragic car crash. Jota is etched in my mind for somehow getting away with a dangerous challenge that drew blood from Oliver Skipp's head (at Anfield of course).

Haven't changed our air filters in too long so of course this hot weather caused the AC compressor lines to ice up and cooling to degrade. Thawed them out tonight and will go pick up new air filters tomorrow morning.๐

Filling up the new above-ground pool for the summer. Unfortunately, squirrels have been dropping a lot of sharp pine cone debris in our usual spot.

91ยฐ F outside right now. Just took a quick stroll around campus to see how hot it was but quickly retreated into a couple of our larger air conditioned buildings for half of it.

Played a couple of fun Mono Green Tifa Landfall games in Ranked last night while working on my dailies. It's pretty fun to set up and then wham the opponent with 30+ points of incoming trample damage.

Salvaged a 1- 2 Final Fantasy premier draft last night by ripping off two wins after a several day break. I like the format, I just hate the three rough drafts I had after going 4-3 (one of which Untapped didn't track).

By my rough estimates (which could be incorrect) it's still very much a wash. The two mile longer highway route is a minute faster, but probably still uses slightly more gas. Kind of wish I could measure actual gas consumption in my car.

One amusing consequence of all the extra highway driving that I did on my last tank of gas is that I got my best gas mileage (24+ mpg) in years. It does make me ponder my daily commute route a bit.

Started off my day by forgetting my wallet, but rolled with it, drove back home and started the db migration I needed to do remotely, and then filled up my gas tank on the way back into work.
