Had an amazing run with the girls this afternoon. Didn't start out intending to go as far as we did, but we felt good and they wanted to do more. Ended up running almost 5 miles with some big climbs!

Our month-long stuck top oven door nightmare is over. Successfully disassembled the door enough to fully access the hinge and get it to open enough to remove the whole oven door and allow us to replace the problem hinge. Works like a dream now!

Just realized a new vm redirects to the old vm after a successful database restore because it correctly is configured as if it's the old vm.

Got the old mac mini set up with Sequoia and Tailscale this afternoon. Didn't realize that Tailscale was very local user account-centric and ended up with some duplicate computers when I tried to get it running under the kids account after originally configuring with my account.

First 5K with the girls in a while. They started out fast and I was kind of hurting, but then we settled down and I warmed up. Ended up just under 29 minutes and about thirty seconds ahead of S and everyone finishing under 30 minutes total.

Just did a Mac mobile AD account name change for the first time in forever. Actually was quite straightforward. You just need to update the home directory and then edit three fields under the advanced user settings for the account.
