🍿 Porco Rosso 👍👍
Finally watched this Miyazaki classic with the family after years of intending to. I didn't actually know all that much about it other than the basic premise- pilot cursed to become a pig flies around saving the day. I was immediately charmed by the gruff hero, silly sky pirates, and aerial animation. Then I was super-charmed by his favorite mechanic's family after he goes to get his plane fixed in Milan. Love/hate that the primary antagonist is an obnoxious American from Texas, but love how it all turns out. Porco Rosso is just a fun warm-hearted comfort story set in a gorgeous part of the world that I already look forward to watching again.
