As if to mock all my concerns of the previous episode about Starfleet Captains' preposterous need to lead away missions we got "Action" Saru's last day in the field. I had a feeling Rayner would end up being Saru's replacement, but I really liked that it was actually Michael's request rather than something forced upon her.
