⚙️ State of the Blog
This weekend was fairly productive on the blog consolidation front. I tracked down most of my recent microblogging archives, wrote a little javascript code to convert twtxt UTC timestamps into a usable form, and made good progress importing conventional posts through January 2020. I still haven't done any theme tweaking and customization. But I have some ideas percolating in the back of my head.
I continue to enjoy working within the Bear blog environment. The community features are cool, the blogging system is the right mix of simple and powerful, and the basic analytics are also quite useful. And I really like the variety of blogs and people that I've discovered so far here on Bear blog.
I'm also still contemplating starting a couple more blogs for some of my more niche interests. As tempting as it always is to start a new project, I'm holding off until I make further progress here at so.axodys.com. Getting all my writing and relevant social media output from the last six to seven years into the blog remains the main priority. That and adding a little new daily content every day as well. So far so good.
