🍔 The Krabby Patty Kollab
My oldest daughter works at the busiest Wendy's in Spokane, directly adjacent to the Gonzaga University campus and across the river from Downtown. Today I learned that Wendy's launched a special Sponge Bob Square Pants 25th Anniversary collaboration with Paramount called The Krabby Patty Kollab. Not only has it been a hit so far, it has completely overwhelmed the shorthanded staff at their location who were given a minimal heads-up. Needless to say, Mary received some all-caps IM ranting from our daughter tonight.
I must admit the Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty sounds kind of enticing as a fan of pineapple and the original soft serve in a cup concept. I'm less certain of the Krabby Patty Kollab Burger:
A quarter pound of fresh, never-frozen beef, American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomato, pickle, onion, and a super special secret sauce served on a toasted bun with, of course, love. Both Dave Thomas and Eugene Krabs would be proud.
Word from the inside is that the special sauce is the main thing and the other ingredients sound solid, but it's still kind of mysterious. I'm looking forward to hearing more details when my daughter gives us the full scoop.
