Watched the John Carpenter paranoia and body horror classic with my sons last night. The practical effects were amazing! Certainly not for everyone, but a very ahead-of-its-time movie that didn't get the appreciation it deserved until well after it left the theaters. On an amusing personal side note, Wilford Brimley was almost five years younger than I am now when they made the movie.
