🏖️ Week Notes 011

Took half the week off while students and faculty were enjoying their Spring Break but still managed to remotely trigger a bunch of Sequoia updates on macs that were ready for the upgrade.
- 🏀 Gonzaga actually managed to defeat St. Mary's in the WCC Championship game thanks to some a surprise stating lineup pairing of Huff with Ike.
- 🗽 Heard back from Reprentative Baumgartner regarding my reaction to his statements about the White House/Ukraine debacle. I may not agree with a lot of his politics, but I feel like his staff does a good job on his communications.
- ⚽️ Spurs advanced to the Europa League quarterfinals thanks to a 3-1 home win over AZ Alkmaar.
- Crossed 350,000 words lifetime on 750 Words.
👾 Playing
- 🧙♂ Did a little bit of drafting, but pretty burned out, and mostly focused on daily quests.
- Played Carcassonne with the family Sunday night.
- ⚽️ Picked up Bang Average Football and it's awesome, but working out my controller scenario is an ongoing project.
Projects
- Worked on our taxes a little bit, but not as much as I intended. Next week for sure.
- 🎮 Went down a LOVE 2D/Mac gamepad compatibility rabbit hole with Bang Average football. My cheap SNES-style gamepads weren't properly mapped in the first version and the more recent update. Ended up getting a Logitech Dual Action gamepad and it ended up not working at all in BAF despite registering perfectly in two different test utilities.
- 🧙♂ Continued assembling the Tarkir Dragonstorm stories into an epub, but I think Chapter 7 isn't out until next week.
📚 Reading
- 📚 Started up on the Tarkir Dragonstorm stories.
📺 Watching
- 📺 Paradise (7-8) 👍👍 Finished up the first season and really enjoyed the concluding episodes despite dreading them going in because of the way episode 6 concluded. 7 was a super intense thriller and 8 had a ton of unexpected twists and callbacks. Can't wait for season 2.
- 📺 Daredevil Born Again (Ep 3) 👍👍 Great courtroom episode with a lot of twists and turns and a heartbreaking finish.
- 📺 Severance S2E9: The After Hours 👍👍 Milchick had a couple great moments, Cobel finally meets up with Mark and Devon, and it looks like Irv, Dylan, and Miss Huang will be out of the picture in the finale.
🎧 Listening
- ⚽️🎧 Got back to my Spurs podcasts thanks to the positivity of the AZ win.
- Listened to a fair amount of music this week, but nothing new or that exciting.
