🏀 Week Notes 012

March Madness hit hard this week, but I love it. I had minimal expectations for the Zags heading into the first round, but they didn't disappoint at all. Really proud of the way they battled Houston too even if they came up short in the end. Already starting to think about the transfer portal and what next year's team will look like. Zag women are still alive in the WBIT and will face Colorado Sunday I believe.
📝 My blogging streak finally fully collapsed this week. I got to Friday and realized that I hadn't published anything from Tuesday to Thursday (there was material in my 750 Words, I just forgot to edit it and publish it).
🐶 Challenging week with the pups in that Mary had to open at work three different times, but the kids and I stepped up to make sure that the pups were always attended to first thing in the morning.
🏀 Gonzaga 89-68 Georgia - Zags most complete performance all season since destroying Baylor 30 games ago.
🏀 Gonzaga (W) 67 - 51 UTSA - Solid performance for the Lady Zags against a scrappy UTSA team. Allie Turner broke the Zags single season 3 pointer record and can extend it further Sunday again Colorado.
🏀 Gonzaga 76-81 - Houston - Epic comeback with a chance to tie in final seconds ends in defeat to a tough 1 seed.
👾 Playing
🧙♂ Called it a limited season and cracked the 70 Aetherdrift packs I'd already accumulated after amassing 135 DFT rares. Got to Silver 1 in Constructed and will push toward Gold at least before the season ends.
⚽️🎮 Played a lot more Bang Average Football on Saturday after realizing I hadn't tested the previous version 1.0.15a with my new controller. Sure enough, it works fine so I was able to complete all the skill tests that require lobbing and start improving my character further.
Projects
- Taxes are stalled, hoping to make some progress Sunday.
📚 Reading
- 📚 Not a particularly productive off-web reading week for me although I continued to work on the Tarkir Dragonstorm collection.
📺 Watching
📺 Severance S2E10: Cold Harbor 👍👍 Wild finish with plenty of surprises and heartbreak. Already looking forward to Season 3 and have no idea where they'll go from here.
📺 Daredevil Born Again S1E04: 👍👍 Matt wrestles with the fallout of Hector's death and tracks down Frank Castle. In true Punisher fashion he confirms he doesn't hunt vigilantes and throws in a pretty brutal pep talk for Matt's trouble.

- 🎙 Biff! 229: Daredevil Born Again ep 3 👍 It's always fun listening to these guys, particularly when there's a good superhero show going on (obviously they run about a week behind actual airing).
