🪧 Week Notes 013
🗓️ // Mar 23, 2025 - Mar 29, 2025
Another week of having to worry about politics and our president, but there were a few bright spots amongst the mess of lowlights.
Musk is going on Fox and crying about Tesla. He's such a weak and pathetic man. As JWZ pointed out a few weeks ago, we need to hit him harder on all possible fronts until he completely breaks down. The Tesla takedown stuff is working.
The really big news that came out this week is that top White House defense officials have been planning and coordinating military stuff on Signal and they accidentally looped in the Editor in Chief of the Atlantic prior to the recent Yemen mission against the Houtis. He didn't believe it at first, but as soon as it became clear that it was accurate he left the group and wrote an article.
The dingbats in charge of Social Security are doing everything in their power to break the agency. I really don't think they fully comprehend the fire they're playing with on this.
Tuesday's high of 75° F broke a 144-year-old record for March in Spokane. As much as I enjoy that level of warmth in March, it's what that trend translates to in June, July, and August that worries me. Also, our poor fluffy furry pups were panting so much
Managed to scrape up my forearm and elbow pretty good after tripping and falling on top of our firepit spot while messing around with the pups and their soccer ball in the backyard.
Playing
⚽️🎮 Super League Champions! It took me 7 seasons but I finally managed to win the Super League in Bang Average Football this week. Upgrading my striker proved key and I finished at around 35 points for the season.
🧙♂ Gold accumulation mode as I cruise into Tarkir Dragonstorm. Think I can problably get to 65K gold.

🎙 Storytime with Wil Wheaton S1E1: Rock, Paper, Scissors, Love, Death 👍👍 Cool time travel doomed romance story by Carolin Joachim. I was immediately tickled by the fact that a key repeating scenario takes place on a Greyhound bus traveling between Seattle and Spokane across Steven's Pass.
🎙 Levar Burton S1E1: Kin 👍👍 I've got the short audio fiction bug now, and thankfully Levar Burton has a big back catalog I can go back to.
